Presently, the Weyburn Police Service has an authorized force of 22 officers. 2 Sergeants, 4 Corporals, 14 Constables, the Deputy Chief and the Chief of Police make up the Service. Sworn members come from varied educational backgrounds, many with post-secondary studies. Several officers have received specialized training in investigative techniques and procedures, specialized technician appointments and designations, and certification as provincial instructors for firearms, self-defense and other various training. All sworn members have graduated from the Saskatchewan Police College or another recognized Police Training Academy.
